Bolaji is a young man who moved to Lagos in search of greener pastures. He was informed about IOWAF’s free vocational skill training by his Uncle who encouraged him to partake in it. He particularly took interest in the shoe and bag making classes we had in 2019, today; he owns his own shoe making business.

Mrs Lilian is a widow with three children with no means of livelihood to support her children through school. She was happy she took part in the IOWAF’s free Vocational training for Widows and Vulnerable Women, particularly the catering classes. Today, she runs a store where she sells snacks (pastries) and catering materials which she uses to support her children.

Funmi is a young lady who lost both her eye sight to glaucoma. She needed help with adjusting to her new normal, especially because she was a newly wedded bride and did not want to be a burden to her husband. She was happy that IOWAF was able to support with funds to purchase a braille machine that helped her relearn to read, and eventually get her back her life and confidence.
